Tool Training for Japanese Translators
Word-Connection director Kaori Myatt is a MemoQ trainer and has lectured in York, Sendai, Osaka and Tokyo on the use of C.A.T. tools.
With memoQ, Kaori has also presented a series of webinars online for Japanese translators.
Word-Connection work closely with the University of East Anglia. We provide student assessments throughout the year for their Masters in Translation coursework.

JTF Tokyo Annual Meeting
Word-Connection is a member of the Japanese translation Federation JTF.
The JTF Annual meeting is the largest gathering of professionals from the Japanese translation industry.
We were invited to attend and speak at this event in December.
As an extension of our student mentoring program, Word-Connection have provided work placements experience, to students of three leading U.K. Universities.
Work placements are available to students completing their Masters in Translation Studies.
We are always happy to mentor new students and fully support initiatives that help develop translators and our Industry.
